CGIT joins the College of Natural Resources and Environment

CGIT was welcomed into the College of Natural Resources and Environment in time for the 2014/2015 academic year. The college already boasts a majority of Virginia Tech's coursework related to geographic technologies, making CGIT an excellent addition to the current CNRE research centers such as the Center for Environmental Applications in Remote Sensing, Conservation Management Institute, and Center for Natural Resources Assessment and Decision Support.
