Broadband service providers, citizens, and governments have access to broadband planning via the toolbox. The toolbox currently includes: Virginia Broadband Availability Map and Integrated Broadband Planning and Analysis Tool, Vertical Assets Inventory Tool, Virginia Telecommunications Policy Database, SurveyCardinal, and DataCardinal. With these tools, users are able to gather comprehensive planning data such as broadband coverage, current tower and antenna locations, the policies for a specific municipality or location, survey results from various SurveyCardinal campaigns, and broadband connection speeds for certain locations. Users can also view responses from the recent statewide Governor's RUOnlineVA survey that measured perceived coverage and user happiness with their broadband. Please send any feedback to cgitsupport@vt.edu.
