Danny Kim

Danny Kim joined CGIT in August 2025 as a research associate. He has Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics and earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics in May 2021 from Virginia Tech researching the dynamics of special abstract dynamical systems defined by what are called Thurston maps. His current occupational interests include web and community development. His research interests are in developing statistical models, general network analysis, spatial analysis along networks, and complex dynamical systems (not currently in the pure discrete dynamical sense but more particularly large-scale agent-based systems and network systems).
