National Extension Web-mapping Tool

CGIT is working with the University of New Hampshire to provide a publicly accessible resource for our nation's cooperative extension agents. By bringing together data from a variety of sources including the US Census, Census of Agriculture, and additional sources, CGIT hopes to create a central hub of information in the form of an online mapping tool. This tool will allow users to dynamically display data for requested areas and to download the data for integration into reports. The tool will also feature a Data Discovery process to help users find and interpret data layers. The current BETA version of the tool can be accessed at https://newt.cgit.vt.edu/.
